Carson has been working as a performer, director/ choreographer, and teacher for the past 25 years and is hugely passionate about arts education. Born and raised in Wilmington, she has a B.A. from New School University in NYC, after 3 years at UGA and NYU (Tisch). Fav credits include Broadway's WICKED (Witch's Mother/ensemble), plus the LA/Chicago/Nat'l tour companies, A Chorus Line (Cassie, Val, Kristine), A Full Monty (Vicki), Footloose (tour). Directing & Choreo credits: Annie, Cabaret, The Prom, Newsies (Wilmington Theatre Award), Kinky Boots, Spring Awakening, Footloose, The Full Monty, & Fiddler on the Roof. B'way Cares Equity Fight Aids benefits (Gershwin, Neil Simon, and Minskoff, Broadway). TV/Comm credits: ESPN, One Life to Live, MasterCard, Toy's R 'Us, The Today Show. Teaching highlights: Broadway Dance Center, and currently the first theatre dance teacher on faculty in the UNCW Theatre Department.
