Scholarships

Scholarships are made possible through donations to OHTC's Grassroots Program, Youth Arts Education Sponsorships and grant funding. A portion of all Show Sponsorship packages also supports Youth Scholarships.

OHTC Apprentice Theatre Program

Opera House produces 3 shows specifically for teens & young adults (ages 14-24) that focus on building skills both onstage and behind the scenes with intensive 2-3 week training & rehearsal sessions. These shows will be cast, crewed, & creatively designed by young artists!!! We will also be featuring a directing workshop this season for young artists who wish to increase their experiences with directing.

Mentor /Apprentice Program

Apprentices are paired with OHTC Creative Team membersand trained in their respected fields.

OHTC's The Third Act Players, Wilmington’s first theatre program for performers ages 50 and older.
