Summer Camps

Explore theatre arts with some of Wilmington's most talented performers and professional guest artists from Broadway, Television and Film.

Our classes and camps are unique, fun-filled and are designed to engage, educate and inspire!

Join us for our last camp this summer on August 13th.

There will be a performance where campers can express their creativity and show what they have learned at the end of the week.

Workshops

With most of Broadway on pause, Opera House Theatre Company found a silver lining. We are thankful to be able to employ Broadway performers & bring them to Wilmington to offer once in a lifetime opportunities for our community to take classes with these current Broadway performers; to safely entertain our community and offer some much needed relaxation for them to enjoy all that Wilmington offers.

The multi-class workshops for pre-teens through adults, will cover original choreography from Broadway shows that they were recently performing in before the pandemic + a few extras!

Registration is now open!

Apprentice Theatre

Opera House will be producing 3 shows specifically for teens & young adults (ages 14-24) that focus on building skills both onstage and behind the scenes with intensive 2-3 week training & rehearsal sessions. These shows will be cast, crewed, & creatively designed by young artists!!! We will also be featuring a directing workshop this season for young artists who wish to increase their experiences with directing.
