Based on the hit film of the same name, The Full Monty follows the fortunes of six unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York. With no job, money or prospects, they are fed up. When the men spy their wives and other local women going crazy over a group of male strippers, an idea begins to emerge. Overcoming their jealousy and feelings of emasculation, they decide to make some quick cash by forming their own act--a team of male strippers with ‘real man’ bodies. However, their rehearsals are not easy. As they prepare for the performance of their lives, they are tested and exposed, both physically and emotionally. Overcoming their fears, self-consciousness, and inner demons, the men realize that they are strong together and find solace in their friendship. This gives them the courage to finally ‘let it go’ and reveal all!
Louisa May Alcott’s beloved story of the adventures of the four March sisters is brought to vivid musical life in Little Women. The Civil War is in full swing, and the March sisters -- Meg, the oldest, a romantic, the spirited and tomboyish Jo, sweet and loving Beth, and irascible, playful Amy -- live in Concord, Massachusetts with their Marmee while their father is on the battlefield.
Filled with adventure (both lived and imagined), heartbreak, and a deep sense of hope, the struggle of these “Little Women” to find their own voices mirrors the growing pains of a young America. With buoyant, joyful melodies, memorable characters, and a big-hearted message, Little Women reminds us that “sometimes when you dream, your dreams come true.”
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert tells the story of Tick, a talented drag queen, who decides to meet his young son for the first time. After enlisting the help of his friends Felicia and Bernadette, they set off on an adventure aboard a bus they’ve named Priscilla. As the trio travels through the Outback, they encounter a variety of characters and unexpected challenges. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is a celebration of self-expression, diversity, and the power of authenticity.
Filled with hits from the 70s and 80s and unforgettable show-girl-style costume design, this cross country journey will have you dancing in the aisles!
One of the world’s most iconic and longest-running musicals, Les Misérables tells the story of Jean Valjean, a former convict who spends a lifetime seeking redemption. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France and the aftermath of the French Revolution, this timeless story of intertwined destinies reveals the power of compassion and the quiet evil of indifference to human suffering. As Valjean’s quest for a new life carries him into Paris and to the barricades of the Student Revolution, he is hunted by Inspector Javert and the ghosts of his past. Amidst a battle for the soul of Paris, he discovers the true meaning of love and salvation. Performed in over 40 countries and 22 languages, and with a lush, swelling score that features such famed songs as “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” and “Bring Him Home,” Les Mis brings Victor Hugo’s revolutionary novel blazingly to life.
An eclectic group of six kids (played by adults) vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of -potentially made-up- words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.
This laugh-out-loud musical features irreverent, relatable humor and cringe-worthy feels about what life is like as an kid.
